The goal of relaunching the Trebbiano grape in Tuscany, considered too often as a blend variety, has often been a fixed thought for Ugo Contini Bonacossi. The project to produce a 100% Trebbiano that was able to rise over time became a reality in 2000, with the first vintage of this wine.
From a mass selection, a short pruning, a severe green harvest and a late harvest, we obtain a very rich must, which ferments and refines in tonneaux, acquires elegant secondary aromas and lends itself to a long aging.
