In the medieval tradition "Laudemio" means the "part of the harvest reserved for the Lord". The concept expressed in the word is therefore that of a selected part within the total product. The strong personality of 'Laudemio' is linked to the following production characteristics that distinguish it:

  • location of olive groves in highly vocation areas;
  • selection of olive groves based on typical Tuscan varieties;
  • cultivation of the olive tree, harvesting and pressing of olives in compliance with the rules dictated by the production regulations;
  • control of company production to select olive oil having the required requirements.

The olive harvest takes place by 30 November of the year.
