Wine denomination: Franciacorta D.O.C.G. "Rose".

Grapes:
Pinot Nero and Chardonnay.

Soil types:
Alluvial moraine with medium, deep formation period: the texture is sandy-loam, the moraine stone is frequent or very frequent.

Date of harvest:
The harvest takes place manually with transport of the grapes in boxes, the harvest period does not generally exceed the end of August.

Vinification:
The Rosé Vigna Dorata comes mainly from Pinot Nero grapes; the same are vinified in steel tanks with submerged cap maceration for a period of very few hours which varies according to the vintage; in this way an original, delicate and elegant color is obtained. The must is then separated from the marc to complete the fermentation at a controlled temperature.

Second fermentation:
The tirage is carried out in the months of April and May of the following year. The second fermentation and maturation can vary from 24 to 36 months depending on the vintage in our temperature-controlled refining rooms.

Disgorgement:
When the maturation of the Rosé has reached the desired characters, disgorgement is carried out with the addition of the appropriate "Liqueur d’expedition". This product is presented in the "brut" version and dosed between 6-7 g / l of residual sugar. After a stop of about three months in the cellar for aging, the Franciacorta Rosé DOCG is dressed and is ready for shipment.
