    The vineyards, located at 290 m, are located entirely on the northern side of Montalcino, characterized by cooler temperatures and marked thermal excursions.

    13 hectares of vineyards, exclusively cultivated with Sangiovese Grosso, embrace the castle with 7 distinct parcels cultivated with spurred cordon and guyot: La Vigna del Velo, named after the overlying chapel dedicated to the Virgin of the Veil, the Vigna del Castello, Sant'Anna, del Lago, Cipressi, del Piano and Vigna Nuova.

    The soil structure, rich and heterogeneous with the presence of calcareous clays and sand and the prevailing exposures to the north and west, guarantee maturation of great balance.
    Our agriculture follows an organic philosophy, based on the values ​​of respect and synergy between man and nature.


    The cellars are located inside the structure, in the prisons of the castle, where the temperature is constant throughout the year, thanks to the mighty walls and the air chambers below and above.

    The grapes are selected by hand and vinified with indigenous yeast fermentation and long maceration on the skins. Refinement takes place with the traditional method in large Slavonian oak barrels, to allow the Sangiovese to best express the territory, Montalcino.
