The Tricerchi Castle, built by the family of the same name in 1441, is now home to the company and home to the Squarcia family, who received it by direct descent. Today the company is headed by Tommaso Squarcia, a very young producer and entrepreneur with great views. What distinguishes Tommaso is the ability to combine the old tradition with the new youthful mentality in producing Brunello di Montalcino.
Brunello A.D. 1441 comes from a manual selection of the best grapes from Vigna del Castello and Vigna del Velo. 1441 is the year of the foundation of Castello Tricerchi.
